The Dr. Ryan Stone (Sandra Bullock) is a mission specialist on his first space shuttle misssion aboard the space shuttle Explorer. It is accompanied by veteran astronaut Mat Kowalski ( George Clooney), who is in charge of his final expedition. During a spacewalk to repair the Hubble Space Telescope, Mission Control in Houston warns the crew of a Russian missile strike on a satellite deceased, which caused a chain reaction of the formation of a cloud of space debris. Mission Control ordered that the mission must be aborted. Soon after, the comunications with Mission Control lost, although the astronauts continue to transmit, with the hope that the ground crew can still hear.

Unit 9. Dora Maar Au Chat

Dora Maar au Chat is a 1941 painting by Pablo Picasso. It shows Dora, the painter's lover seated with a small cat perched on her shoulders, seated on a chair. This painting is colourful and beautiful. But also, the paintings is rare because Dora had the nose or the mouth in another place. But it's original and imaginative.

The type of work is a typical of cubism. This art began in France. The cubism used all the colours and sometimes shows dream scenes or imaginative landscapes.

Dora way obtained by Chicago collectors Leigh and Mary Block in 1940s. They sold the painting in 1963. After that, the painting was never shown until the 21st century.

Unit 8. Malory Towers

I'd like to recommend a book which I read the last year, called Malory Towers.

The author of the novel is Enid Blyton.

The book is a bildungsroman and the setting is United Kingdom. The main character is Darrell Rivers. She is from England and she have to go to a Boarding school. There, she make a lot of friends like Sally Hope, her best friend and others.

The things I liked mot about the books were the school and the characters. Also I liked because to all Darrell's friends and her, they have to do strange adventures, and I like this.

All in all, I relly liked the book, and it has a happy ending. It's an easy book to read and I recommend Basically to the girls.

Unit 6. Home Schooling

I don't know anybody who have home schooling. In my area, home schooling it isn't common in my opinion.

In my opinion home schooling it isn't bad or good. I think that if you have home schooling, you don't have a lot of friends when you'll go to university, you will not be able to relate and you're always in the same place. But I think that you learn more, because you're more concentrated, you have more confidence with the tutor and you are more confortable, since you ara in your house.

So all in all, I think that it't a good thing to have a school uniform, and for that reason I don't think that will be a poblmem.

Unit 5. Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande was born in Florida in 1993, His career began in 2008 with Charlotte's paper in the musical on 13 of Brodway. From 2010, Ariana does Cat Valentine's paper in the series of Nickelodeon, Victorius and Sam and Cat. This one 2013 has gone out his first disc, called Yours Truly.

His great success was exactly 1 year ago when he sang the song " The Way" with Mac Miller. This 2013, has gained the prize of better new artist of the year in the American Music Awards. Also one of his big successes has been the exit of his first CD. This Christmas has done an album of 4 songs called " Christmas Kisses"

Ariana has had one very successful career. One of the things that made her famous was his appearance in the series Victorius in 4 seasons. Also she has appeared in several movies as Swindler.

Unit 4. Life online

I disagree with Marky oo2. I think Internet addiction is a problem. Now in the world many people need help. These people are disconnnected from real life, and their lives are on facebook, instagram, twitter... Apart form that, they play fames online all the time and they are addicted. And you Marky say about the internet addiction that from what you've seen it's something which people when they're bored. This is true but not all the people go to internet when they were bored, they spend days and nights online.

Unit 3. A traffic problem in a city

I am writing because I was thinking a city that had a traffic problem. I've decided that I'm going to do Barcelona, because it is a city that is not far away. The problem in Barcelnona is that, in the morning, there are a lot of cars in the street.

I think there is a reason for this. There are a lot of cars because all the people go to work in the morning at the same time. So for this reason there are problems of traffic each morning.

We mus do something about this situation. If people can go by bus, We won't have the traffic problems, and decrease would be pollution.

Unit 2. TV Highlights

There are a lot of programmers that I enjoy, but my three favourite programmers are: Modern Family, The big bang theory and the foraster.

Modern Family is a comedy series. The families of Jay Pritchett, his daughter Claire Dunphy,  and his son Mitchell Pritchett are protagonist. Claire is married with Phil and they have three children, Jay is married with a younger Colombian woman named Gloria and together they raise their teenage son Manny, while Mitchell share his life with Cameron. They have adopted a Vietnamese baby. This will lead to comic situation Throughout each chapter.

The big bang theory is also a comedy series. There are three scientific, Sheldon, Leonard and Rajesh, an engineer, Howard and waitress, Penny. Sheldon and Leonard are romance and Pennny is his neighbour. Howard lives with his wife , Bernadette. Sheldon also has a partner, Amy. In all chapters, all these characters spend their unspeakable stories.

The last serie is called 'El Foraster'. Quim Masferrer, the foraster goes for 48 hours to a village in Catalonia. The ones the villagers questions and in the end he make a show for the people about everything that has happened during these 48 hours.

Unit 1. My friend

Marta and I are friends. Marta lives near me here in Banyoles. We don't go to the same school.

Marta is thirteen years old. He's quiet short and he's got long brown hair. The good thing about him is that she's cheerful and friendly, all though she can also be boring sometimes, and she isn't always very practical.

Marta is happiest when she's chatting and joking with friends. She likes going to the cinema. There's a big new shopping center in town and we often go there. She likes watching films, and sometimes we do that together.
